Richmond’s ‘Interstate Race’ is on again for Tiger fans living in non-Victorian states, with great footy prizes up for grabs.

To be in the running to win prizes including flights, accommodation and match-day benefits to Richmond’s Round 20 clash with Essendon for two people, Richmond’s ‘Famous Number 8 Guernsey’ memorabilia piece, or a Richmond guernsey signed by the entire 2014 team, all you have to do is JOIN or  RENEW your Richmond membership for 2014.

Each state or territory is competing in the challenge, and the state with the highest percentage increase of Richmond memberships will win, with prize winners randomly selected from the winning state. Last year, New South Wales/ACT won the challenge when they were the first state to sign 2000 members.

Currently, Queensland is in the lead with a 34% increase of memberships from the same time last year, and New South Wales/ACT following closely on 31%.

Additional prizes including a team-signed guernsey, $500 merchandise voucher and premium interstate memberships will be available if the Club reaches its target of 12,000 interstate members in total. In 2013, Richmond signed a total of 9000 interstate members.

The Club is aware that the Tigers are loved far and wide throughout Australia, and has memberships with great flexibility available for interstate fans to enjoy access to Richmond games and feel a part of the Tiger Army. If interstate fans have already joined or renewed their membership for 2014, they have already been included in the Interstate Race and are in the running for the prizes.
