A dashing running goal by Richmond midfielder Nathan Foley has been voted the 10th best goal of the year by Richmond fans.
Each weekday from today (Monday, September 15) until Friday, September 26, richmondfc.com.au will be counting down the best goals of 2014.
Foley’s six-pointer came against the GWS Giants in Round 10, from the first passage of play in the second quarter.
An extended scrimmage in the centre square was broken up by Matt Thomas, who released Foley at top speed. He out sprinted Shane Mumford and side-stepped an opponent before launching on goal.
The number nine goal of the year, as voted by Richmond fans, will be revealed tomorrow, Tuesday September 16.
