THE AFL has announced that Richmond will wear its predominantly yellow clash guernsey in next week's Grand Final against Adelaide.
AFL football operations boss Andrew Dillon said the Crows would wear their home guernsey in the match as the highest-ranked team participating in the Grand Final.
"The AFL legislates that the home team has the right during the home and away season, and it was the view here that with a clash, the AFL had previously made the decision for the higher-ranked team to have its choice," Dillon said.
Asked whether the AFL's decision was disappointing, Richmond coach Damien Hardwick made it clear he had bigger Crows to stone.
"We'd play in a hessian bag to be perfectly honest. I stole that from (Richmond property steward) Guiseppe Mamone, so make sure you put his name in there," Hardwick joked.
