Comment: Prolific possession-winning midfielder, who provided the Tigers’ team with considerable value. Was totally professional with his playing preparation, which helped him maintain a consistently high level of performance. Had a first-class, decision-making capacity, excellent endurance and a clever football brain. Led Richmond into the 2001 preliminary final in his first season as captain and served the Club well in that capacity for four years.
