Richmond has named three potential debutants in its squad for Sunday’s Round 3 clash with the Kangaroos at Ikon Park, with Ella Wood, Ciara Fitzgerald and Hannah McLaren all a chance to run out.
Left-footed midfielder, Wood, was taken by the Tigers with their third selection (Pick No. 31 overall) in the 2019 NAB AFLW Draft.
The 19-year-old impressed in Richmond’s pre-season practice matches with her creativity and pinpoint kick.
Eighteen-year-old Fitzgerald, a reliable defender with a strong work ethic, was selected by the Tigers with pick No. 87 in last year's draft.
Listed top-up player McLaren has been named alongside Fitzgerald on the extended bench. The energetic defender impressed in Richmond’s VFLW program in 2019.
Out of the side that lost to Gold Coast in Round 2 is Tayla Stahl with a hamstring complaint.
The Tigers will finalise their Round 3 line-up at 4.00pm on Friday afternoon.
