Following another season where he played every match for Richmond, dual Jack Dyer Medallist Brett Deledio is now in fifth place on the Club’s all-time consecutive games’ list.
Deledio has played 138 games in-a-row since Round 18 of the 2007 season.
He is No. 1 on the AFL’s current consecutive games’ list, and this year moved past Andrew Kellaway (118 games from 1999-2004), Paul Broderick (131 games, including at Fitzroy, from 1991-1998) and Greg Tivendale (135 games from 1999-2005) on the Tigerland table for matches on-the-trot.
Only Joel Bowden (143 games from 1998-2004), Kevin Bartlett (150 games from 1966-1972 and 173 games from 1975-1982) and Jack Titus (202 games from 1933-1943) are ahead of Deledio, who has played 195 of a possible 199 games since being taken by the Tigers at pick one overall in the 2004 National Draft.
