Shutting down Sydney’s midfield will be high on Richmond’s agenda in this Friday night’s Round 13 clash at the SCG.

The Swans’ on-ball brigade has been in fine form so far this season, and the Tigers will look to gain the ascendancy in the middle of the ground.

Daniel Hannebery is one of the in-form players of the competition, who is averaging 30.5 disposals and five clearances per game.

“You can’t look after them all, and there’s going to be guys who get out, and he’s been fortunate enough that it’s him,” Max Bailey told Matthew Richardson on this week’s edition of the ‘Spotlight’.

Watch: Damien Hardwick spoke to the media at the airport on Thursday

“You look at his team-mates who are helping him out, in Jack, and Parker, and Kennedy as well.

“Brandon’s (Ellis) got the tank to go with him, but so does Kamdyn (McIntosh), and he’s that taller player who might be able to help with the contested stuff too.”

Luke Parker has also become a match-winner this season, for his ball winning ability, as much as the impact he has when drifting forward.

“He’s a genuinely good player.  He snuck under the radar for a while but I think teams and people in general are really taking notice of him,” Bailey said.

“I think we’ll see guys like Jake Batchelor or Dylan Grimes go to him (when forward), because they are good defenders.

“We wouldn’t probably want to see our mids back there defending him.”
