Experienced and versatile key target David Astbury returns to bolster the Richmond VFL team for this Saturday’s match against Williamstown at the ME Centre.
Astbury has been absent while he recovered from a hamstring strain, and has been named at centre-half-forward in the Tigers’ VFL squad.
Joining him in the selected side are Connor Menadue and Steve Morris, who were omitted from the AFL team.
The VFL side will have to cover the losses of Chris Newman, Kane Lambert and Nathan Gordon, who were called up to the seniors for Friday night’s match against Sydney.
Richmond is coming off a narrow loss to Footscray last week, while Williamstown, currently sitting third on the ladder, suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of ladder-leaders Box Hill.
The game kick off at midday, and updates can be followed via the Richmond VFL Twitter account.
