Richmond’s dynamic duo of Brett Deledio and Dustin Martin are among an elite group of AFL players this season averaging more than 20 disposals and a goal per game.
There are only 10 players in the competition, who are currently achieving this impressive feat, with Deledio and Martin appearing on the list alongside Adelaide’s Patrick Dangerfield, Collingwood’s Dane Swan, Gold Coast captain Gary Ablett, Port Adelaide’s Robbie Gray, North Melbourne’s Brent Harvey, West Coast’s Luke Shuey and Geelong pair Steven Motlop and Steve Johnson.
Deledio is averaging 21.6 disposals and 1.6 goals in the 16 games he’s played this season.
Martin is averaging 26.4 disposals and 1.0 goals in his 21 games.
The Magpies’ Swan is averaging the most disposals among this select list of players, with 29.0.
Gold Coast captain Ablett heads the goal average with 1.7 from just the six games he managed to play from what was an injury-ravaged season for him.
Deledio has the second-best goal average (1.6).
