Star Richmond forward Jack Riewoldt has broken a long-standing goalkicking record at Tigerland . . .
Riewoldt has become the first player in the Club’s history to kick 50 goals or more in six successive seasons.
He reached the 50-goal milestone this season with the second of two six-pointers he scored in last Friday night’s 41-point win against North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.
That took him past Tiger goalkicking great Jack Titus, who accomplished the 50-plus goals feat in five consecutive seasons, from 1934-38.

Titus is the greatest goalkicker in the Tigers’ history, with 970 from his 294 games (1926-43).
Riewoldt scored 78 goals in 2010, 62 in 2011, 65 in 2012, 58 in 2013, 61 in 2014, and has exactly 50 so far this season.
He won the competition’s Coleman Medal in 2010 and 2012, and captured Richmond’s prestigious Jack Dyer Medal in 2010.
The 26-year-old, who was recruited to Richmond from Tasmanian club Clarence, has a total of 431 goals in his 179 games for the Tigers.

Riewoldt is in seventh place on Richmond’s all-time goalkicking list, just 12 goals behind sixth-placed Jack Dyer.
It isn’t only Riewoldt’s continued ability to steer the ball between the big sticks that’s being acknowledged accordingly.
Richmond coach Damien Hardwick is an unabashed fan of the selfless way Riewoldt has been going about his football in the Tigers’ front half throughout the season.
“His ability to set up goals has been outstanding . . . I think he’s had a wonderful year,” Hardwick said on SEN.
“He’s incredibly consistent for us.
“He probably hasn’t had the big games that he has over previous years. But his consistency, no doubt, has been the thing that’s had him having a standout year, in my view.”
