Brandon Ellis has picked up where he left off last season, when he finished runner-up in the Jack Dyer Medal.
The hard-running, talented young Tiger racked up a season-high 31 disposals in last Sunday’s convincing victory over Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
Ellis is averaging 26.9 disposals per game in his fourth season of league football and is ranked second in the competition for total uncontested possessions.

But he’s also worked hard to improve the defensive side of his game, and is averaging 4.4 tackles per match.
Tenacious Tiger midfielder Anthony Miles sang Ellis’ praises in the rooms after Sunday’s win.
“He’s been fantastic . . . he’s having another great season,” Miles told ‘Roar Vision’.
“He’s starting to be a real leader out there and demanding high standards of others, which has been fantastic . . .
“We won contested possessions and tackles for the second week in-a-row, and Brandon set the scene there.
“It’s been a real focus of his lately, and for him to be leading the way in that, is a real positive for our group . . .
“He’s really driving those standards for the other players.”
