Richmond captain Trent Cotchin is set to play his 200th game of AFL football, in Thursday night’s Round 2 clash with Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
Cotchin will become the 28th player in Tigerland’s history to reach the 200-game milestone.
Taken by the Tigers with their first pick (N0. 2 overall) in the 2007 AFL national draft, Cotchin has turned out to be one of the Club’s most decorated players of all time – a triple Jack Dyer Medallist, Brownlow Medallist, All-Australian representative and premiership captain.
Cotchin’s inspirational leadership was a major factor in Richmond capturing the 2017 premiership.
He set the tone for September glory with his strong and bold style of play through the midfield.
His single-minded determination to succeed helped drive the Tigers to seize AFL football’s ultimate prize.
