Star Richmond key defender Alex Rance has emphasised the importance of the Tigers remaining upbeat in the wake of their ordinary start to season 2016, which sees them with just one win on the board after four rounds.
Rance is adamant a positive attitude is an essential factor in their quest for a form turnaround.
“If you keep dragging the anchor of disappointments of the past, then you’re never really going to go places,” Rance told ‘Roar Vision’ in the rooms following Richmond’s 68-point loss to West Coast at Domain Stadium last Friday night.
“We’ve got to assess, work out what we’ve done wrong, and then lift our heads up, chests out, and really attack the next week . . . If we keep dragging old memories up, then it’s going to get us nowhere.
“So we’ve got to keep moving forward and just believe in our game structure that we’ve got, which we do . . .
“We believe in our coaches, we believe in the stock that we’ve got. We’ve just got to get the click back.”
