Customer service puts ME Bank on top
Richmond partner ME Bank has been awarded the inaugural 2011 Mozo People's Choice Award for Best Customer Service.
More than 23,000 banking and insurance customers from around Australia participated in this year's banking Awards, by rating their provider on mozo.com.au.
ME Bank took out this year's award for Best Bank Customer Service, with an extremely high customer service rating of 86 percent.

Ian Hendey, Group Executive, Brand, Product and Distribution said ME Bank was particularly pleased to receive the Best Bank Customer Service Award because it was further confirmation that ME Bank is highly regarded by its customers, who are members of industry super funds and unions.
"Unlike the other awards that are based on technical data, the Mozo Award for Best Bank Customer Service is based on what our customers think of ME Bank."
Earlier this year, ME Bank won the CANSTAR Blue Most Satisfied Customers Award.
The bi-annual Roy Morgan customer satisfaction surveys this year have rated ME Bank in the top ten percentile for Net Promoter Score - the likelihood of bank customers recommending their bank to family and friends - the highest of any bank.
ME Bank was also runner up for the title of Australia's Best Bank and ranked in the Top 5 in both the Best Home Loans and Best Savings Accounts categories.
"These awards are a clear indication from our customers that we're doing the right thing. It's in our DNA to offer low cost, simple and fair banking products and services and as long as customers are satisfied, we'll continue to take this approach," Mr Hendey said.
