Richmond has re-signed rebounding defender Bachar Houli and hard-running midfielder Shaun Grigg.
The Tigers have extended Houli’s contract until the end of 2018 and Grigg has a new one-year deal with the Club (until the end of 2017).
Both Houli and Grigg joined Richmond in late 2010, following stints with Essendon and Carlton respectively.
They have been valuable contributors for the Tigers in the six seasons since, with Houli playing 122 games and Grigg 123 games.
Houli has achieved a top-10 Jack Dyer Medal placing in each of those six seasons, while Grigg has managed a top-10 finish five times.
Although Houli missed 10 games because of a wrist injury this year, he has performed admirably in his 11 appearances.
The 28-year-old is averaging 25.1 disposals per game, is ranked seventh in the competition for rebound-50s per game and eighth for marks per game.
He racked up an AFL career-high 36 disposals in the Round 3 match against Adelaide at Etihad Stadium.
Grigg, also 28, has been one of Richmond’s most consistent performers throughout season 2016.
He is averaging 24.6 disposals and 5.1 marks in his 19 games and has kicked 10 goals.
On nine occasions this year, he has finished with 25 disposals or more in a match.
Grigg had a league career-high 38 touches against North Melbourne at Hobart’s Blundstone Arena in Round 11.
