Richmond’s VFL side, fresh of five consecutive wins, will play Coburg in a do or die clash at Punt Road Oval this Saturday.
With just one round remaining in the home and away season, the VFL Tigers are still a chance to finish in the top eight.
Essendon’s VFL side sits one win clear of the VFL Tigers in eighth.
However, if the Bombers lose to Northern Blues on Saturday and the VFL Tigers get the job done against Coburg, then Craig McRae’s side will likely feature in finals action.
McRae’s group is fresh off a nine-point win over Sandringham but has a number of changes for Saturday’s Round 21 match.
Richmond’s VFL side has lost Nathan Drummond and Adam Marcon to injury, while Mabior Chol was selected to make his AFL debut against Sydney on Saturday afternoon.
The VFL Tigers have recalled 23rd man Kayle Kirby, who turned heads when he booted five goals on debut last weekend.
Kirby, 18, was all class against the Zebras, alongside gutsy midfielder Anthony Miles.
The side will again boast a tall forward line, with Ty Vickery and Liam McBean looming as key targets.
AFL-listed players Reece Conca, Nathan Broad, Ben Lennon, Jason Castagna and Jacob Townsend will also provide plenty of grunt and speed across the ground.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 12pm. Entry is via the Punt Road End Gate, which opens at 11am.
Free entry for Richmond members. Food and drink will be available to purchase.
Car parking is available in Yarra Park.
