A super Brett Deledio around-the-corner, Gaelic football-style snap, that would have made any Irishman proud, has been voted Richmond’s fifth best goal of the 2016 season by Tiger fans.
The veteran Richmond star produced his special “Bend it like Brett” moment in the Round 6 clash with Port Adelaide at the MCG.
Deledio, on the end of a chain of handballs from teammates, curled the ball around his body from about 40 metres out, at the Punt Road end of the ground, and watched it sail through post-high to chalk up full points for the Tigers.
It was vintage Brett Deledio . . . oozing class.
The fourth and third goal of the year, as voted by Richmond fans, will be revealed tomorrow, Thursday September 22.
