The wait is finally over for Richmond defender Bachar Houli, who will make his playing return from a wrist injury via the VFL on Sunday.
Houli has spent 11 weeks on the sidelines, as he required surgery to insert a screw into his injured scaphoid.
The experienced defender will play limited game time in the VFL Tigers Round 16 clash against the Box Hill Hawks at Punt Road Oval on Sunday.
Richmond youngster Connor Menadue returns to VFL action this weekend, alongside a number of AFL-listed players.
Menadue joins Tiger tall Ty Vickery, Jake Batchelor, Jacob Townsend, Ben Lennon, Ivan Maric, Kane Lambert, Andrew Moore and Nathan Broad.
The side will be without veteran defender Troy Chaplin, who announced his immediate retirement from AFL football earlier in the week.
Richmond's VFL side had a bye last week but will set out for a consistent effort against the ninth-ranked Hawks in Sunday's curtain-raiser to the AFL hit-out at the MCG.
Sunday’s match kicks off at 12:30pm. Gates open at 11:30am.
Free entry for Richmond and Hawthorn members.
Food and drink will be available.
