Richmond players will proudly wear a gold premiers logo on all AFL guernseys in 2018.

Since season 2008, the reigning premiers have worn a special gold AFL premiers logo, in place of the standard AFL logo on the players' guernseys.

The AFL premiers logo will feature on Richmond's traditional home guernsey, clash guernsey as worn in the Grand Final triumph, and the pre-season/training guernsey.

Fans can also wear the gold Premiers logo with pride, as it will appear on all replica guernseys sold from the Tigerland Superstore.

The 2018 guernsey also includes a brand new PUMA locker tag, in black, (and yellow on the clash guernsey) to ensure it is engrained into the fabric of the jumper.

The Richmond logo is also watermarked throughout the jumper, on both the player-edition and replica versions.

A new addition to the guernsey in 2018 is the logo of joint major sponsor nib.

The nib logo will appear on the back of the guernsey, after this year signing a new three-year partnership with the leading Australian private health insurer.

"As players we wear our guernsey with great pride,” said Richmond captain Trent Cotchin.

"The addition of the gold Premiers logo makes our guernsey all the more special this year and is a reminder of the tireless work and effort that is required for season 2018.

“We’d also like to thank nib for joining Richmond for at least the next three years as a joint major sponsor.”
