Tigers in clash strip
Richmond will wear its clash guernsey with black shorts in tonight’s Round 10 match against St Kilda (white shorts) at Etihad Stadium.
The AFL has deemed the traditional Tiger strip now clashes with the Saints, as well as Essendon, Port Adelaide and West Coast.
It will be the first time Richmond has worn black shorts with the clash jumper.
The Tiger players also will wear special purple tops for their on-field, pre-game warm-up, to help raise awareness for the Club’s preferred charity partner The Alannah and Madeline Foundation.
Proceeds from the auction of the warm-up tops will go towards the AMF’s ‘Better Buddies’ program, which aims to help reduce the incidence of children being bullied and create friendly, caring school communities.
