For the first time in the Club’s history, Richmond will wear a dedicated guernsey for a charity partner, when the players take to the field on Saturday against the Brisbane Lions at the MCG.
The Tigers are dedicating this weekend’s match to The Alannah and Madeline Foundation and the Stand Up for Our Kids campaign, to raise awareness of the impact of family violence to children.
The design of the unique guernsey has a purple outline contrasting the Tigers’ yellow sash, and select players have the Foundation’s purple Buddy Bear mascot printed on the jumper for a fan competition.
During the game, fans at the ground, or watching the match on TV at home, are encouraged to find where Buddy Bear is hiding, and enter the competition on wheresbuddybear.com for the chance to win a family holiday for four people to Cairns, thanks to Tourism Tropical North Queensland.
This weekend, there are free tickets for kids to attend the match. Click here to register.
