Sam Lloyd and Anthony Miles were at their ‘ball-magnet’ best for Richmond’s VFL team in last Saturday’s practice match against Werribee at the Swinburne Centre’s Punt Road Oval.
The dominance of Lloyd and Miles through the midfield was a major factor in the home team’s five- point win – 7.12 (54) to 8.1 (49).
VIDEO: Moore shows skills at ground level
Lloyd also kicked two valuable goals in the low-scoring encounter, as did talented Tiger rookie forward Callum Moore, who showcased his impressive ground-level skills throughout the contest.
Richmond’s father-son selection Patrick Naish displayed some promising signs, while rookie ruckman Ivan Soldo was a solid contributor.
