Back-to-back Thursday night blockbusters against traditional rivals headline Richmond’s 2019 home-and-away fixture.
The Tigers will again feature in the season opener against Carlton, before returning to the MCG the following Thursday night to host Collingwood.
Other marquee home matches include Dreamtime at the ‘G against Essendon in Round 10 and the now traditional Anzac Day eve clash against Melbourne, which will be played on a Wednesday night in 2019.

“Once again, it is an exciting start to the season against traditional rivals Carlton and Collingwood," said Richmond CEO Brendon Gale.
"Our members and supporters always look forward to those clashes, and we're pleased to have the opportunity to play both them twice in 2019.
“The home Dreamtime at the ‘G game against Essendon will be the marquee match of Sir Doug Nicholls round, and we also host the fifth edition of the ANZAC Day Eve fixture against Melbourne, so there is plenty for our supporters to be excited about."
Richmond’s fixture features 13 free-to-air games, and the final seven matches at the MCG, including at least four afternoon timeslots.
“Those afternoon MCG fixtures give us a great opportunity to either align VFL or VFLW matches or maximise family-friendly fan opportunities at the Swinburne Centre,” Gale said.
The Tigers will travel interstate five times during the 2019 season - twice to Adelaide, and once each to Sydney, Perth and the Gold Coast.
“We’re happy our members and supporters across the nation will have the opportunity to see us play,” Gale said.
“With the JLT match in Launceston, we are going to be accessible to nearly every supporter base we have across Australia.”
The Club will again pay tribute to its supporters with ‘Member Thank You Round’ to be held in Round 23 against Brisbane at the MCG.
In total the Tigers have 13 matches at the MCG in 2019 – of which 10 are home games.
The Club’s bye has been fixtured for Round 14.
