Star key forward Jack Riewoldt was the sole Richmond player to feature in the Round 9 voting for the 2018 AFL Coaches’ Association’s Player of the Year award.
Riewoldt was a shining light for the Tigers in their 47-point loss to West Coast at Optus Stadium last Sunday.
He had 13 disposals, including nine contested possessions, took a team-high seven marks (four of them contested grabs), had a team-high nine score involvements, and kicked a team-high five goals.
Riewoldt expected to play against St Kilda
Rival coaches Damien Hardwick (Richmond) and Adam Simpson (West Coast) rewarded Riewoldt for his excellent efforts with five votes in the prestigious AFLCA Player of the Year award.
