Richmond’s goalkicking power was further highlighted in last night’s 54-point victory over St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.
The Tigers scored 100-plus points for the 10th time this season in their 17 games. That’s four more century scores than they managed throughout last year’s entire home-and-away season.
And Richmond had 10 separate goalkickers against the Saints, which is the third time this season that 10 or more Tigers have scored goals in a match.
There were 10 separate goalkickers in the Round 10 victory over Essendon and 11 in the Round 7 win v Fremantle.
Another interesting statistic from last night’s success revolved around Richmond’s efficiency.
The Tigers had just five players that picked up 20 disposals or more – Martin (30), Prestia (26), Short (26), Lambert (23) and Grigg (21), compared to St Kilda who had nine.
All-up, Richmond had 361 disposals, while the Saints finished with 385.
