The VFL Tigers will take to the MCG on Sunday, August 11 for a curtain-raiser clash against the Northern Blues.
The two sides will play at 11.50am, ahead of Richmond’s Round 17 match against Carlton at 3.20pm.

There will be just 45 minutes between the matches, in an effort to boost the experience for fans.
The VFL Tigers reaped the rewards of a demanding pre-season on Saturday, when they stamped a 13-point win against Essendon in their first practice match of the year.
The group will face the Box Hill Hawks at the Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval this Saturday for their second pre-season hit-out, with the first bounce at 12.00pm.
