Richmond young gun Sydney Stack was rewarded for his superb performance against St Kilda at Marvel Stadium last Sunday with nine votes in the Round 15 voting for the 2019 AFL Coaches’ Association’s Player of the Year award.
Stack responded brilliantly to his move forward by kicking a game-high four goals in an exciting display that thrilled the Tiger Army and helped pave the way for Richmond’s 33-point win.

Tigers superstar Dustin Martin, who won the prestigious coaches’ award in 2017, received seven votes after finishing the match with a game-high 36 disposals, equal game-high six clearances, five inside-50s, 10 score involvements, seven marks and a game-high 712 metres gained.
Another talented Tiger cub, Mabior Chol, in just his third AFL appearance, polled five votes for his eye-catching exhibition – 16 disposals, nine marks, four inside-50s and three goals.
Rounding out Richmond’s Round 15 vote-getters in the AFLCA Player of the Year award was top-class midfielder Dion Prestia. He picked up three votes following another valuable contribution for the Tigers – 29 disposals, five rebound-50s, four clearances, 11 score involvements, five marks, five tackles and 440 metres gained.
