Richmond has added four players to its squad for Sunday’s big match against Greater Western Sydney at the MCG.
Jack Riewoldt could make his highly-anticipated return following 10 weeks on the sidelines, after suffering a high-grade PCL injury in Richmond’s Anzac Day Eve win over Melbourne.
MANY CULTURES Celebrate the Many Cultures that make up our 'One Tiger Army' at the Round 17 match against GWS
The three-time Coleman medallist’s inclusion in the side would provide the Tigers with another tall forward option alongside Tom Lynch and Mabior Chol.
Also included in Richmond’s Round 17 squad are Josh Caddy, Jack Higgins and Liam Baker, all named on the extended interchange bench.
Caddy could come back into the side after missing Round 16 with a leg injury, while Higgins and Baker could be in line to return following classy performances in the VFL last weekend.
Baker relished a new role as a small defender in the VFL Tigers’ loss to the Bulldogs with 29 disposals, eight marks and six rebound-50s, while Higgins was impactful with 22 disposals, six tackles and seven clearances.
Both Baker and Higgins have spent the past two weeks in the VFL, their most recent senior outing the Round 13 loss to Adelaide.
