“I think he’s got a big future, as we saw (in his Round 10 AFL debut match against Essendon).
“It’s so tough for young guys, the position he plays, to come in and play well. He played against big Tommy Bellchambers, who’s very experienced, big body.
“He’ll be better for the run, the experience.
“At VFL level, he’s starting to show real consistent signs of the marking-type tall forward that can play in the ruck and kick goals.
“I think he’s got a little bit of both (ruckman and forward) in him, but I like his ability to take the contested mark.
“He’s very big like ‘Lynchy’ (Tom Lynch), but can ruck also, and he’s mobile.
“I think he’s going to be a really good player, but, obviously, we need to be patient with him.
“He’s got to put on a bit more size in the right time and manner.”
