The Cats won through to the preliminary final with a 20-point win over West Coast in Friday night's semi final.

The Tigers had previously won the right to host the preliminary final with a 47-point win over Brisbane in the qualifying final held at the Gabba on September 7.
Collingwood hosts GWS in the other preliminary final at the MCG on Saturday September 21.
