UPDATE: Richmond members can purchase tickets for the 2016 AFL home-and-away season tomorrow, Wednesday, March 2.
The first bounce of the Tigers’ traditional season opener against Carlton is just 22 days away, and 2016 Richmond members can reserve seats for all of Richmond’s 11 home games from 9am on Wednesday morning.
The exclusive members’ pre-sale will end at 12pm on Thursday, ensuring the best seats are available to Club members at reduced rates.
The general public can now purchase tickets from Midday, Friday March 11, 2016 due to an issue relating to the Ticketek website postponing the initial scheduled date of March 4. Etihad Stadium tickets have been unaffected by the issue and are available as normal.
Richmond’s season kicks off against the Blues on Thursday, March 24, with over 80,000 people expected at the MCG.
Other marquee matches include Richmond’s traditional Dreamtime at the ‘G clash against Essendon in Round 10.
The Tigers play 10 home games at the MCG this season and one at Etihad Stadium, in Round 3 against Adelaide.
As per the past three seasons, general admission tickets to all games will cost $25 for adults and $5 for children.
The AFL will also continue with it's successful 'kids free' approach to Sunday matches in 2016, whereby kids under the age of 15 can gain free general admission entry to MCG & Etihad Stadium games.
