McIntosh has played all 16 games in the Tigers’ senior side and is averaging 14.7 disposals per match.
He is ranked fourth among the league’s Rising Star nominees this season for total disposals.
Richmond recently rewarded McIntosh for his impressive efforts this season with a new two-year contract. The Tigers believe he has the necessary attributes to develop into a key member of their line-up for many years.
“He’s been a surprise packet to me to be honest,” Richmond vice-captain Brett Deledio said on this week’s edition of ‘Talking Tigers’.
“I always knew he could run and he had terrific attributes, but for him to come in and play the way he’s played has been great.
“He probably had a quiet couple of weeks there in-a-row, but he’s just up and down the ground, his work-rate’s fantastic, and his skill level’s certainly not the worst.
“The backs speak highly of both Kamdyn and Brandon (Ellis) . . . how much they get back to help them in the defensive end.”
