Richmond premiership forward and co-vice captain, Jack Riewoldt has inked a new two-year deal to remain a Tiger until the end of 2021.
Riewoldt, 29, is contracted for season 2019, with the new two-year extension cementing his future at Tigerland.
Playing 243 games in the Yellow and Black in his career so far, the star forward is leading Richmond’s goal kicking for the ninth straight season, and sits in fifth place overall on the Club’s all-time leading goalkicker list, with 581 goals.
He is a 2017 premiership player, 2010 Jack Dyer Medallist, dual Coleman Medallist (2010, 2012), two-time All-Australian (2010, 2015) and has been in the Club’s leadership group for the past two seasons.
Richmond General Manager – Football, Neil Balme said Jack is both an important and loved member of the Club.
“We love what Jack brings to our football club,” Balme said.
“Jack is a wonderful leader, selfless team player, and great clubman, and it’s fantastic that he’ll continue his journey here at Richmond.
“Jack’s a talented player and continues to evolve his game, and also spends time supporting his teammates in their own development, and we love that team-first nature about him.”
Riewoldt’s contract extension comes after the Club announced earlier this month that co-vice captain Alex Rance and livewire small forward, Jack Higgins had also extended their tenure at Richmond.
