RICHMOND premiership captain Trent Cotchin is expected to travel to Adelaide on Wednesday ahead of Thursday night's Grand Final rematch despite being hospitalised on Sunday night.
The Tigers confirmed to AFL.com.au on Monday Cotchin had sought medical assistance at Epworth Hospital on Sunday night after coming down with a migraine.
He had trained earlier in the day and had no other medical concerns other than the headache, which he wasn't able to shake.
"He couldn't get on top of it," football manager Neil Balme told AFL.com.au.
"They whizzed him into Epworth and he's fine now. He said he's good now and it's not going to impact him.
"I spoke to him at 11 o'clock [on Monday morning] and he's 100 per cent now.
"There's no doubt whatsoever [about him playing]."
He attended the Melbourne Grand Prix on Saturday, for which he was ambassador, but wasn't scheduled to attend on Sunday.
Cotchin was discharged from hospital on Monday morning and is resting at home on what is the players' day off.
He is expected to train on Tuesday and line up against the Crows on Thursday night in what will be his 200th game.
Forward Shai Bolton is also expected to be available after cramping late in the Tigers' win over Carlton last Thursday night.
Meanwhile, defender Bachar Houli is firming as an inclusion this week after battling a pre-season calf injury sustained in the first JLT Community Series game against Essendon.
But forward Dion Prestia is likely to build fitness in the Tigers' final VFL practice match on Friday against Box Hill, after missing a chunk of the summer with a hamstring issue.
"We'll have to see. Dion hasn't played much so it would be a bit of risk to play him," Balme said.
"It's a matter of whether you play him straight up or whether he's done enough work … I think he's fit, but I don't know if he's fit to play – we'll decide that tomorrow.
"Bachar is probably ahead of him. It depends how they train tomorrow."
Forgotten ruckman Shaun Hampson and midfielder Nathan Drummond are also set to resume playing on Friday in the VFL hit-out after lengthy injury lay-offs.
Hampson is managing a disc issue in his back that requires regular treatment and hasn't played at AFL level since round 23, 2016.
He finished last season with six games in the VFL, including the Grand Final, and approached the pre-season with caution given the issues he faced in 2017.
"I reckon they're a decent chance. It depends on how they feel," Balme said.
"There's no rush with either of them but they're both keen to play."
Drummond last played at AFL level in round 21, 2016, before he suffered his second anterior cruciate ligament injury in a VFL game in April last year.
