Young defender Campbell Gray will get his opportunity at AFL level, with the Tiger to debut against Melbourne in Round 7 at the MCG.

Selected by Richmond in the 2024 Mid-Season Rookie Draft as the No. 16 pick, Gray has proven himself to be a key position utility, after strong performances across the 2024 and 2025 VFL seasons.

The 21-year-old stands at 195cm, and after spending time across defence, forward and ruck, he brings agility to any role he plays.

Gray has been promising at VFL level, most recently collecting 17 disposals in the Round 4 clash against Frankston.

In the VFL side's Round 2 after-the-siren win against Sandringham, Gray finished with 13 disposals, five tackles and a goal.

The 21-year-old competed in eight matches for Essendon’s VFL side in 2024 before joining the Tigers. There, he averaged 9.3 disposals and kicked 10 goals. His season was cut short due to a hamstring injury.
