Richmond’s Wheelchair Football team will set their sights on a fourth premiership when they begin their 2025 campaign in Round 1 against Hawthorn on Friday, May 16th at the State Netball and Hockey Centre. 

Since the inaugural season of the VWFL in 2018, Richmond has made appearances in five of the past six VWFL Grand Finals and is fresh off their second consecutive Robert Rose Premiership Cup.

The 2025 VWFL Championship Division and Community Division Fixtures have landed and it's stacked with marque matches across 10 rounds including a three-week finals series.

A much anticipated Grand Final rematch against Collingwood is set to take place in Round 3 on Saturday, June 1, at the State Netball Hockey Centre. 

The last time the two sides met, the Tigers recorded a 23-point win over their arch-rivals, led by premiership captain Teisha Shadwell.

The State Netball & Hockey Centre will again be home to the Victorian Wheelchair Football in 2025, with only two matches hosted at separate venues.
