“My whole adult life has largely been at the football club and my journey has been amazing” says Richmond captain, Toby Nankervis #25. “There's been so many great people along the way who have invested their time in me, and I feel now that it's my responsibility to invest the same time and effort to the next generation coming through”.

Joining the journey is about being part of a community that thrives on connection, pride, and unity. From the players to the members, we’re all in this together, and that’s what makes Richmond unique.

Ashleigh, a long-term member, reflects on her fondest memories watching the Tigers at the MCG, "We may not know everyone outside of game day, but when you're here, we're just one big family."

The Tiger Army is an integral part of this family, and as we move into 2025, we’re welcoming the next generation of players who are ready to lead the charge. Cowan, a young Richmond member of seven years and junior player sponsor, is excited to see the new-look team emerge in 2025, "I can’t wait to see the draftees play and the excitement they'll bring to the team."

Our players certainly feel this connection too. After 10 years of calling the MCG home, Toby Nankervis still feels the thrill of running out in front of the Tiger Army, "Running down to the Punt Road End, there is nothing quite like it. The sound is almost deafening, and we get so much support that it gives us so much energy."

Richmond is a Club built on history, passion, and perseverance. We’ve been through the highs and lows together, and now it’s time to take the next step forward.

The excitement of 2025 spreads across all our programs. Our AFLW rising star, Ellie McKenzie #22, can’t wait to contribute to the next chapter in Richmond’s journey: "Hopefully, in the near future, it's a premiership. For me, that's my goal, and I know our team is working strongly towards that too."

Richmond isn’t just a football club; it’s a place where connections are formed, passion is shared, and where the Tiger Army plays an integral role in driving success. Maurice Rioli, AFL #17, describes his journey as surreal: "I still pinch myself every time I put on the guernsey. I’m very honoured to wear the Yellow & Black."

Ozzie, 13-year consecutive member, continues her connection to the Club through membership each year, sharing a special connection with the Tiger Army: "The reason we're here is to win, but Richmond has that special feel. We’ve got great draft picks, and the future is looking good."
