Richmond AFLW has named its extended squad for their clash against Hawthorn at the Swinburne Centre this Sunday afternoon.
Featuring in Richmond AFLW’s extended squad for potential outings are a quartet of Tigers, Molly Eastman, Charley Ryan, Tamara Luke and Jemima Woods.
Out of the side is forward Sarah Hosking.
The 28-year-old suffered a high-grade hamstring injury in the dying minutes of the Tigers’ Dreamtime clash with Essendon in Week 9, which will see her ruled out for the remainder of the 2024 AFLW Season.
AFLW High Performance Manager Eliza Morrison said Hosking “has a pretty significant hamstring injury.”
“We took her for a scan yesterday…(and) we’ll see what her plan is going forward,” Morrison said.
Rebecca Miller has been named in the Tigers’ squad after leaving the Week 9 clash in Darwin in the third quarter with hamstring tightness.
The 29-year-old has proven her fitness this week, with Morrison stating that she “pulled up really well from the flight and from what she presented yesterday (at training).”
The key defender is set to play her 50th AFLW game against Hawthorn on Sunday afternoon.
Defender Beth Lynch will also reach the 50-game milestone on Sunday.
The 27-year-old was added to Richmond’s AFLW primary list on the eve of the 2022 season after spending three seasons with North Melbourne, and has played in 41 out of a possible 42 games for the Tigers.
The Tigers will confirm their final side on Friday night at 5:00pm AEDT.
