Livewire AFLW forward Emelia Yassir has proven a knack for rising to the occasion in high-stakes situations.

On multiple occasions now, she has put the Tigers ahead in the final moments of the fourth quarter.

The 21-year-old was cool, calm and collected during a tense final term last Saturday against Geelong, slotting her third major to give the Tigers the lead with five minutes remaining.

Yassir also snatched the lead back for her side in the dying stages during in the Opening Round against West Coast, before the Eagles unfortunately responded with one of their own to claim the victory. 

She was also the match-winner in Round 6 of Season 7 against Gold Coast, helping the Tigers pip the Suns with two minutes remaining as they recorded their fourth win in a row.

Her clutch match-defining moments also extended to a quick-thinking rushed behind later that season, levelling the score with 47 seconds remaining in the final round against North Melbourne.

The resulting draw cemented a top 4 finish and double chance for Richmond ahead of their inaugural finals series.

Speaking to Richmond Media after the eventual seven-point victory last Saturday, Yassir said she embraced big match moments.

"(Katie Brennan) came up to me saying 'you've got this' and I'm like, 'yeah, you know what, I do have this'," Yassir said. 

"Once it came off the boot, I knew it was coming off nicely.

"I think our team is so great to adapt to anything.

"Any weather, any circumstance, any kind of announcement, we are so good to bounce back, no matter what."
