Five AFLW Tigers featured in the coaches’ votes for their 36-point win over Collingwood at the Swinburne Centre on Saturday afternoon, led by gun midfielder Ellie McKenzie.

McKenzie was one of six players in Week 6 to secure a perfect 10 in the coaches’ votes.

The 21-year-old was impressive against the Magpies, collecting 18 disposals, seven tackles, seven clearances, three marks, 312 metres gained and an equal career-high two goals.

Superstar Monique Conti amassed a game-high 30 disposals on Saturday afternoon to go along with seven tackles and seven clearances.

Conti was awarded with seven coaches’ votes for her performance, and sits in fifth place on the AFLW Champion Player of the Year leaderboard with a total of 43 votes.

KFC Player of the Match: Week 6

Monique Conti has been awarded the KFC Player of the Match for Week 6.

Eilish Sheerin (six votes) was influential in the Tigers’ win over the Magpies to pick up coaches’ votes for the third consecutive game.

The dual All-Australian picked up 17 disposals, three marks, six tackles, two goals and 353 metres gained.

The 32-year-old has received coaches’ votes in four out of her five games this season.

Also earning coaches’ votes was Kate Dempsey. 

Dempsey collected 23 disposals, five marks, five tackles and three clearances on the wing to receive three coaches’ votes.

Rounding out the vote getters for the Tigers was Jodie Hicks.

The defender earned one vote following her 18 disposals, two marks and four tackles on Saturday afternoon.

Conti currently sits in fifth place with 43 votes, while McKenzie sits in ninth place (38 votes) on the AFLW Champion Player of the Year leaderboard.
