Tamara Luke is set to play her first game for the AFLW Tigers since signing as a replacement player in August following Montana McKinnon’s season-ending knee injury.
Luke is a former St Kilda and Hawthorn tall that most recently featured for the Box Hill Hawks as their skipper in the 2024 VFLW season.
The 36-year-old recently earned VFLW Team of the Year honours after averaging 13 disposals and 17 hit-outs across her 15 games this season.
The 180cm ruck/forward also booted 20 goals for the VFLW Hawks this year.
Luke replaces fellow ruck Poppy Kelly, who will miss Thursday night’s clash with a wrist injury.
