Richmond has confirmed its squad for Friday night's AFLW practice match against Brisbane at Brighton Homes Arena.

The visiting Tigers will take on the Lions in their final hit-out ahead of Round 1, with the clash kicking off at 7.15pm AEST.

Richmond has fielded a strong side for the interstate clash, with its top five in last season's Best and Fairest, Monique Conti, Eilish Sheerin, Kate Dempsey, Katie Brennan and Grace Egan, all named to play.

Young gun Ellie McKenzie and recently-appointed co-vice captain Tessa Lavey are also exciting inclusions in the side, as they return from injury-impacted 2023 seasons.
