Richmond VFL’s Round 8 line-up is confirmed to take on Sandringham at Trevor Barker Beach Oval on Sunday afternoon.

The VFL Tigers will travel east to face the Zebras, looking to respond after their loss to Footscray by 31 points in Round 7.

Sandringham sits 12th on the Smithy’s VFL Ladder with three wins and a percentage of 103.8%.

As part of seven changes to the Tigers’ side for Sunday afternoon, Josh Pollocks, Sam Frangalas and Luke Haddara have been named and will make their debuts.

Pollocks, 21, is a hybrid defender who is a smart reader of the play, has a great contested mark and is effective by foot.

Hailing from the Dandenong Stingrays, Frangalas, 19, is a big-bodied mid-forward who has impressed with his power, speed and aggression.

He is the son of former Tiger Gary Frangalas, who played 17 games for the club between 1986 and 1989.

Haddara, 20, is a rebounding half-back who is a great user by foot. After impressing as a train-on in Richmond’s VFL program in 2023, he was awarded his playing contract in March 2023.

Like Mutaz El Nour and Mohammad Yassine, Haddara is a Bachar Houli Foundation Academy graduate and will become the third to play for Richmond VFL on Sunday afternoon.

Harrison White, Archie May, Matthew Clarkson and Harry Broderick will also feature for the Tigers on Sunday afternoon.

May returns to the side from injury, while Clarkson and Broderick will return for Richmond VFL for the first time since 2023.

Out of the side is Matthew Coulthard, Kamdyn McIntosh and Kane McAuliffe (AFL recalls), Steely Green (AFL debut), James Trezise (concussion), Lachlan Street (injured) and Jed Feneley (omitted).

Skipper Street suffered an ACL injury early in the Tigers' 31-point loss to Footscray in Round 7 and will miss the remainder of the 2024 season.

The first bounce is set for 12:00pm at Trevor Barker Beach Oval.

The match will be live streamed free via Channel 7, the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App, and will be open to the public with free entry.
