Richmond VFL has added four names to its side to take on Coburg on Saturday afternoon at Piranha Park.

After a 10-day break following their Anzac Day Eve win over Casey in Round 5, the Tigers will travel north to take on the Lions in Round 6.

The Tigers will look to make it back-to-back wins for the second time this season, against a side that recently snapped its 23-game losing streak.

Richmond will add two AFL-listed names to its side, Kane McAuliffe and James Trezise.

McAuliffe will look to continue his early-season VFL dominance in the VFL after playing two games at AFL level and then being an emergency on Anzac Day Eve, while Trezise returns from a stint on the sidelines due to an ankle injury against Port Adelaide in Round 2 of the AFL.

Two debutants, Nicholas Collier and Tom McCarthy, round out the line-up, making it nine debutants this season for the VFL Tigers.

Representing the Dandenong Stingrays last year, twenty-year-old Collier is a competitive and versatile midfielder and half-back.

In his first year of senior football in 2023, Collier excelled with Dromana in the NPNFL.

McCarthy, 23, hails from Old Mentonians and Highett Football Club and possesses impressive skills and terrific balance for his rangy size.

Out of the side is Tyler Sonsie (AFL recall), Will Bravo (injured), Harrison White (omitted) and Liam Thomas (omitted).

The first bounce at Piranha Park is set for 1:05pm.
