Richmond VFL has confirmed its side to take on Werribee at Avalon Airport Oval on Saturday afternoon.
Off the back of the league-wide bye during the AFL’s Gather Round, the Tigers will travel west to face another team of Tigers at Avalon Airport Oval.
With Richmond topping Gold Coast and Sydney in its opening two games, both sides enter Saturday afternoon undefeated, after Werribee came away with wins against Southport and Geelong.
Richmond will add six names to its side from its Round 2 win, including AFL-listed midfielders Judson Clarke and Sam Banks.
Also coming into the side is the returning Joel Nathan, and Sam Davidson, who will make his debut for the Tigers.
After managing nine games in 2023, swingman Nathan, 23, will return to action for Richmond VFL after a long layoff.
Reliable, tough and versatile, Nathan’s inclusion into Saturday’s match marks his first in his fourth season at Tigerland.
Davidson, 22, is a tall hybrid forward who hails from St Kevins Old Boys in the VAFA.
Since signing his playing contract for the Tigers in late 2023, he has impressed with his size, work-rate and versatility.
The first bounce is set for 2:05pm at the Avalon Airport Oval.
The match will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
