Richmond chalked up its 400th win at the MCG with the 28-point victory over Carlton in yesterday’s Round 21 clash.
All-up, the Tigers have played a total of 727 games at the ‘G’ for 400 wins, 319 losses and eight draws.
Only Melbourne, with 625 wins, has had more MCG success than Richmond.
Behind the Tigers on the MCG wins table is Collingwood with 334, followed by Essendon 269, Hawthorn 209 and Carlton 200.
Meanwhile, Richmond’s record winning run against the Blues has now extended to nine.
The Tigers haven’t lost to their arch rivals since the 2013 elimination final.
But they still have a long way to go to top Carlton’s all-time winning streak in matches against Richmond.
The Blues won 24 on-the-trot from the Tigers’ inaugural 1908 season, in the then VFL competition, until 1917.
