Richmond AFLW stepped up its pre-season preparations with an intraclub session on Saturday at the Swinburne Centre.
Two sides, one wearing black and the other in pink, played out three 18-minute periods at Punt Road, which also included specific situational practice.
A number of state league players took part, including representatives from 2023 VFLW premiers Port Melbourne.
Grace Egan was a standout on the day, tough in the contest and working well in tandem with fellow midfield stars Monique Conti and Ellie McKenzie, who were influential as usual.
Gearing up for her first season in the Yellow and Black, recruit Courtney Jones hit the scoreboard multiple times, while fellow exciting forward addition Caitlin Greiser also goaled and was a force in attack.
Recruit Molly Eastman slotted in well to the Tigers' defensive unit with her skills and decision-making, while draftee Shelby Knoll was strong aerially with her contested marking up forward.
Less than two weeks after becoming a Tiger, Lilly Pearce came up against fellow rucks Gabby Seymour and Poppy Kelly, as she showcased her her athleticism and competitiveness.
Seymour led by example with her pressure, while hard-runner Eilish Sheerin was explosive, looking set for another exciting year after her outstanding debut season in 2022.
Key defender Libby Graham said the hit-out allowed the Tigers to "get the cobwebs out" ahead of this Friday's match simulation against St Kilda.
"Our connection as a backline, it felt like we just clicked back into it which was great," Graham said.
"I was really impressed with the backline and how we did. But also the forwards and the way they worked together, and the midfielders as always.

"(Playing on Richmond's forwards) was a challenge. I ended up on a few different girls and they all do it a bit differently, so I had to adjust."
Following this Friday's match simulation, Richmond will travel to Blacktown the next weekend to face GWS in an offical practice match, ahead of Round 1 against Brisbane on Sunday, September 3.
