Richmond is seeking registrations for its AFLW/VFLW Talent ID Days in Shepparton and Wodonga later this month.

The Club is expanding its search into its Next Generation Academy zone as it looks to grow its female football program.

The Talent ID Days will be overseen by Richmond's VFLW and Academy coach Tom Hunter.

Hunter will be joined by AFLW/VFLW Recruiter Lauren Tesoriero and Female Football Operations Manager Kate Sheahan.

Hunter said the sessions would be skills-based, with some match simulation.

"Female football is growing and developing at a rapid rate in regional Victoria," Hunter said.

"We're really excited to travel to both Shepparton and Wodonga and see first-hand the female football talent in the region," Hunter said.

"We hope to see strong numbers at these Talent ID Days and encourage females from a variety of sporting backgrounds to register to attend."
