Richmond’s Round 19 match will be the Club’s annual dedicated fixture to the Alannah & Madeline Foundation.
The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is the leading national not-for-profit organisation working to protect children from the effects of violence and bullying.
The Club and Foundation aim to raise $85,000 from the match to help keep children safe from violence. Funds raised will help us support the Alannah & Madeline Foundation to deliver backpacks filled with essential items to meet a young person's immediate material and personal care needs when they need it most. These special bags provide a sense of security and comfort for children in crisis.

- $35 can provide three teddy bears to children traumatised by violence
- $50 can provide one child with their own Buddy Bag with essential items for a child in crisis
- $82 can provide four children with new clean pyjamas to help them take the first steps to recover
All match donations, Alannah & Madeline Foundation memberships and merchandise will all play a role in fundraising for the game.

MCG Multi-Faith Prayer Room
The MCG Multi-Faith Prayer Room is open to all patrons.
Located on Level B1 of the Shane Warne Stand (at approximately M13), the room is able to cater for more than 50 patrons at one time, and is suitable for patrons of all faiths including Christian, Muslim, Jewish and Hindu. The room is accessible for all patrons from across the stadium, regardless of where they are seated.
Sensory Friendly Space
A sensory-friendly space, presented by the MCC Foundation, is now open at the MCG and offers visitors some quiet and calm on event day no matter the size of the crowd. Located within the Australian Sports Museum on Level 1 (inside Gate 3, behind bay M51) is a space for all ages who have sensory sensitivities. For more information please click here.
