Richmond co-captain Toby Nankervis has been sent directly to the AFL Tribunal after being charged by the Match Review Officer in last night's win over the Sydney Swans at the MCG.

Nankervis has been charged with rough conduct following contact with Jake Lloyd in the second quarter of the Tigers' 13-point win, which saw the Swan defender subbed out of the match.

The incident has been classified as careless conduct, severe impact and high contact, with Nankervis facing a minimum of three weeks on the sidelines if found guilty by the Tribunal this Tuesday night.

Jacob Hopper can also accept a $1500 fine for careless contact with an umpire in the second quarter.
